What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a way of treating diseases with the insertion of very fine and thin needles into the body at various locations. The needles are brand new and disposed of after each patient’s treatment. Sometimes, the acupuncturist will manually manipulate the needles to bring about stimulation to the area. Other times, the acupuncturist will use an electrical stimulation machine to assist in the treatment.

How many treatments are necessary?

Since each person is unique, their treatment plan will be individualized, depending upon the type of illness, the duration of the illness, the severity of the condition, and the relative health of the patient. If additional treatment is necessary, a new protocol will be administered.

We only use brand new sterilized disposable needles.
